Video player software that is compatible with the new Apple TV will offer the ability to stream videos from services like Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video to the Apple TV.
The new feature will allow users to watch videos from these services with an Apple TV running a newer version of the Apple Watch.
The new Apple Watch video stream will only work with the newest Apple TV model, the 4K Apple Watch Edition, which launched in October.
The Apple TV 4K model has an HDMI-connected display and a battery that is expected to last 10 hours of video playback.
Apple is also rolling out a number of new software updates for the new version of its software called tvOS, which will be available on both new and older Apple TVs starting in September.
Apple is rolling out updates to tvOS that include the new Siri voice assistant and improved support for Apple Pay, allowing users to use the Apple Pay app on their Apple TV, Apple TV remote, and iPhone.
The Apple TV now has a slew of new features, including Siri voice recognition, the ability for third-party developers to make Apple TV apps, support for Siri Remote, and support for new hardware like the new iPad Air.
