Posted January 11, 2019 01:14:37The history of the Avengers has been in the making for quite some time now, but Marvel Studios has only recently released the first of their three movies, the first one being The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The sequel, Age of Extinction, is set to arrive in theaters on May 1, 2019.
The story of the third Avengers film, Captain America: Civil War, is being closely watched by fans and journalists, but it is still being made.
We recently sat down with actor Nick Fury, aka The Punisher, to talk about the character, his motivations, and what it means to Marvel fans.
First off, let’s get this out of the way: we were all just really excited when we heard we were getting our first look at Captain America 2.
This was the third movie in the Marvel cinematic universe.
The first one was the first in Phase Three, and the second one was Captain America 3.
This is the culmination of the team’s adventures and is the first movie in Phase Four.
It’s the culmination that fans have been waiting for, and it feels like a big step forward.
And then it was announced, it was supposed to be, that it was going to be a movie with the same cast that we’ve been seeing in the first two.
Why was it changed?
When we were going into production on Captain America II, we were doing an extended shoot in Australia with a crew that included some of the best actors we’ve ever had.
They were the guys who were involved in Captain America I, II, and Captain America III.
And so we were like, okay, we’re going to do it this way.
So we did it.
And now, we’ve come up with a script and we’ve got it written.
We’re going for a really simple, very clear, concise script that’s very much about the story.
It is about the team, the mission, the characters, the stakes, the fight.
We feel like it is a great story.
So, you know, the reason that we did that was because we thought we were finally going to get to the end of the journey.
And the only way we could get there is to go back in time.
And if we were to do that, it’s not going to have any of the great characters or stories that we had seen before.
So this is the kind of story that I would be willing to do again, if I had to do one more.
And we are so excited about the way that it’s going.
It has such a big cast, and we’re seeing a lot of the greatest actors that I have ever worked with.
And it’s such a fresh take on it.
So what were the reasons behind that decision to change things up?
What was it about that movie that got you excited about doing it?
Nick Fury: Well, it came out a couple of years ago, so it’s been a long time.
But I would say the one thing that really kept me interested in doing this was the script.
I would think that when we saw the script, the story and the characters and what we were looking for, we would have a great time with it.
It was a really nice script, and I was very excited about it.
I knew that we were coming to an end of Cap, and so we just felt like, well, we have a new hero, so let’s do something new.
I just wanted to see what was in the vault.
And that was the moment that I decided that I was going.
I was kind of waiting for it, waiting to see if it was possible.
And, yeah, the way it came to pass was, I was on set, and this guy comes on the set, I’m like, “Hey, Nick, you’re coming up on your birthday,” and I go, “Wow, that’s so cool.
It would be a great honor to meet you, Nick.”
He goes, “I’m a guy named Rick, and you’re the Punisher.”
And I was like, I can’t believe I’m going to meet him.
And he goes, oh, you’ve got to meet me!
I’m just kind of blown away.
I mean, it had all of the right ingredients.
So I went down there, and Rick was really great.
He was really funny, he was very articulate, and he was great to work with.
And then, we had a meeting, and they had a table set up for us to sit at.
And Rick’s table was right next to mine, and our first conversations were actually just about what we wanted to do, and how it was important that we have the right characters in there.
And I would get up there and he would just talk to me about how to play the Punishment character.
So that was really cool, because Rick was
